Skin overview

This karambit keeps its dark blue striped silhouette, but in Well-Worn a good part of the blade has lost paint to bright steel. The handle and finger ring still hold the stripe pattern more firmly than the blade. The contrast between scuffed steel and the dark grip gives the knife a used, field-gear character.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The whole knife is painted in a matte slate blue base with broad diagonal bands of deep navy and lighter grey-blue, applied with a tape mask so the stripe edges run straight across the surface. On the curved blade the stripes cross from spine to edge, while a thin bare steel bevel follows the cutting edge.

Large areas of the blade, especially the front half and the spine, are bare steel with only fragments of the stripes left. The bolster is heavily scuffed and the raised contours of the grip and the finger ring start to lose paint. The darker recessed parts of the handle still show the pattern. In game the knife reads as a steel blade on a worn dark blue handle.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since paint loss on the blade tip and spine teeth grows quickly in the worn grades.
  • Inspect the tip, the cutting edge and the saw-tooth spine first, as these parts lose paint before anything else.
  • Look at how the stripes fall across the blade, because the tape-mask placement can differ between copies.
  • Note whether the knife is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, and decide if that matters to you.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget-minded players who care more about the knife model than about a clean blade.
  • Those who like the contrast of bare steel against a dark striped handle.
  • Conclusion: a cheaper entry with clear character, if visible wear does not bother you.
